New Addition to the Family

Well, we got another dog. I know people think that someone with five outside dogs and one inside dog would be enough dogs for anyone. This is what I thought until I saw a little tiny puppy named Latte. She is light brown, the color of coffee with milk; hence, the name Latte. Lynn and I call her “Dora the Explorer” also. Latte is very busy exploring her new home. She is one ball of energy! I had forgotten how busy a little 10 week old puppy can be. So far, Sparkle, our Chihuahua that we have had for seven years is not taking the arrival of Latte very well. Sparkle was very aggressive at first (jealousy), but after several days a sort of truce seems to be occurring. Hopefully they can become friendly and be company for each other. That’s one reason we got Latte – for Sparkle to have a puppy. Both of them are a great way to relax after a busy day at the office. They really help me wind down. Sparkle even let’s Lynn brush her teeth on the outside of her mouth. Yes, Sparkle has her own child’s toothbrush. I hope you will enjoy the photo of Latte.
